Make It Rad Is Back — and This Year, It’s For Us
Otterly Rad’s Make It Rad community skate jam returns for its third year on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Callingwood Skatepark — and this year, ESA is honored to be the beneficiary of the event’s fundraising.
For the past two years, Make It Rad has grown into one of Edmonton-area skateboarding’s favourite community gatherings — a free jam with food, music, a silent auction, and a genuine reflection of the scene. Last year at the newly renovated Spruce Grove Skatepark, the event drew over 80 registered skaters and over 150 spectators, and raised $1,072 for two local non-profits.
This year, that fundraising is going toward ESA‘s work growing and supporting skateboarding across Edmonton. We’re incredibly grateful to Otterly Rad for choosing to put their event, and their community, behind what we do.
